The Original “Missing Persons”…
Just back from my first visit to Seattle. I didn’t know that the city was named for a local Native American ~ Chief Si’ahl. Lots of art in public places; like this image on the side of a random building.
The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Transamerica Pyramid…
I was surprised to learn that the frog fountain beside the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco, is an homage to Mark Twain, who for a time was one of the “Bohemians” who spent time at the Montgomery Block building, which was previously located on this site. Who is this woman?
Went to the Monet exhibit in San Francisco. The woman in the painting is Monet’s wife. This image is still haunting me. What’s her story?
